Beatrice Pellegrino
Soprano I
Born in Aosta, after her first musical training as a saxophonist at the local wind orchestra where she played for almost ten years, Beatrice Pellegrino obtained the Academic Diploma of First Level in Saxophone with top marks at the Conservatory of Valle d’Aosta. Still very young, she approached choral music by singing first in the Arcova Vocal Ensemble (Aosta), where she had the opportunity to work with important directors such as Lorenzo Donati and Luca Scaccabarozzi, then in the Coro Giovanile Italiano, under the direction of Petra Grassi and Davide Benetti, from 2019 to 2022. She studied at the School for Choral Directors in Turin Il respiro è già canto with Dario Tabbia and directed the Chorale Neuventse (Aosta). For two years she was in charge of the children’s choir of the Cathedral of Aosta, together with Luigina Stevenin, and of the musical propaedeutics course of the Philharmonic Group of Quart (Aosta). Given her growing passion for the voice, she decided to devote herself to studying singing at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, where she is currently enrolled in the Master in Vocal Pedagogy in the class of Luisa Castellani, after completing her Bachelor’s degree. She teaches singing in some Ticino music schools to students between 5 and 13 years old. Since January 2024, she has been the soprano of the vocal group The Blossomed Voice of Verbania, protagonist of important concerts in the Italian scene. A lover of ancient music, she regularly performs solo concerts with the Ensemble Musica Inaudita (Aosta), directed by Alessandro Ratti, she studies the medieval repertoire under the guidance of Pedro Memelsdorff and sang as a soloist in the cantata Wachet auf by Bach directed by Luca Pianca. She has also participated in masterclasses with teachers such as Daniela Uccello and Brigitte Baileys
